ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDELINES

Economic growth must conserve natural resources and serve social progress. This applies both today and with a view to future generations. DEWE Brünofix therefore aims to involve all of its employees and contractual partners in environmental protection. Because each individual can contribute to the responsible use of scarce resources. We have therefore formulated the following environmental guidelines as a binding benchmark for our daily business activities:

We regularly identify and assess our relevant environmental aspects and take appropriate measures.

We take environmental aspects into account in our business decisions.

We ensure a continuous improvement process for our environmental performance by regularly monitoring the targets we have set and introducing appropriate corrective measures where necessary.

We are aware of our responsibility to organise our activities in an environmentally friendly way. Technical and commercial optimisations are therefore an important part of our environmental work.

We ensure that the scarce resources of energy and water are used sparingly. We prioritise waste: Avoid before reduce before recycle.

We regard compliance with environmental regulations as a matter of course. The same applies to all other environmental requirements that we have set ourselves.

We promote the environmental awareness of our employees through suggestions, information and suitable training measures.

We maintain an open and objective dialogue with our customers, suppliers and business partners as well as with the authorities and the public in order to improve mutual understanding.

In order to comply with the environmental guidelines and the environmental targets derived from them, we have maintained an environmental management system since certification in 2012 and are continuously developing it further.

The regular evaluation of recorded data ensures that any remaining weak points are better recognised and targeted improvements can be introduced.
