It began in Leipzig in 1905
The history of our company began in 1905 in Liebertwolkwitz near Leipzig, founded by Reinhold Schüler as Reinhold Schüler KG Fabrik für Metallchemie. He brought the first industrially produced black oxidising salt onto the market under the brand name BRÜNOFIX. The BRÜNOFIX brand was born.
A few years after the end of the Second World War, Brünofix GmbH was founded in Nuremberg by Ilse Schüler as a sister company to Schüler KG to ensure supplies to companies in the western zone.
In 1952, the company moved to Rednitzhembach to the so-called ‘Amler-Haus’ in Rother Straße and in 1966 moved into a new production hall in Pruppacher Weg, the foundation stone for the current location in the south of Rednitzhembach.
